To The Next Level is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to educate, inspire, and motivate athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence to achieve their full human, spiritual, and athletic potential in reaching the next level through a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

TTNL is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization which is governed by Board of Directors and operates under the daily direction of executive director/founder Doug Reese. The ministry is headquartered in Morris, Minnesota.

On March 26, 2000, Doug Reese, the head wrestling coach of the University of Minnesota-Morris was returning from a recruiting trip to Michigan. Late in the evening as Reese was praying and praising God for a successful trip, he drove through northern Illinois when God spoke clearly to begin a web based athletic ministry called "To The Next Level."

In fact God have complete directions to the layout and design of this internet based sports ministry. After struggling with God's call, and the ability to do such a project, work began in the writing, the design, and the layout of the web site in early June. By Septemeber of 2000 the site was launched.

TTNL is dedicated to maintaining financial integrity and makes its annual financial statements available to anyone requesting them. TTNL is also committed to being a faithful stewart of all of its resources, which requires planning and careful spending. Finally, consistent with its commitment to supporting the mission of the local church, TTNL encourages individuals to give to their local church before making any contribution to this ministry.

TTNL is an international ministry dedicated to reaching athletes and coaches for Christ. After Coach Reese received a letter from Madeline M., a 16 year old athlete from Syndey, Australia who was seeking advice in developing mental skills in wrestling, God once again spoke and said, "If you are reaching wrestlers in Australia with your wrestling web site, just think what I can do with My web site."

Currently TTNL has penetrated over 70 countries world-wide and has an average of 270,000 hits per month!

TTNL Ministry activities include:

• Support of other Sport Ministries such as Athletes In Action and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes

• Weekly Sport Devotionals
• Supporting the local church

Plans are also being laid for future expansion of the web site into other languages as well.

TTNL places great dependence on volunteeers. We are always seeking assistance in these important areas:

• Testimonies from coaches and athletes.
• Coaches and professional athletes who would like to share from their personal experiences on how they reached the next level.
• Articles from coaches, medical staff, nutritionists, strength coaches, and athletes that will assist to strengthen, encourage, motivate and inspire both coaches and athletes from around the world, as a result spread the gospel of Christ and glorify Him!
