| A relationship with Jesus Christ means everything in the big high moments and the low moments of life, and the everyday moments. That makes a difference.
I was brought up to go to church as a boy. Although that background was helpful, I drifted away from it for a couple of years.

| Around the time I left school, I drifted away from even the church background that I had.
It was just before I signed for Aberdeen that I was being challenged by God; and I asked myself the questions? "What is it all about? What is the point? What is the purpose?" I found the purpose and the point in Jesus Christ and recognized that I wasn't right with God. I'm a sinner and that sin that I wasn't aware of and now became aware of, was separating me from God. I had to renounce those sins - the Bible calls it repentance. Repentance is admitting that you are wrong and that you are not right with God.
When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, what He's done for me and for each one of us; that was the turning point in my life. I have this peace and I am right with God. That's the joy, the peace, the certain hope a Christian has; and the opportunity to live the life that God wants you to live now, and the hope of eternity in Heaven with God and with Jesus Christ, which is to come.
