| I grew up in a loving home, greatly influenced by my family's devotion to golf and by the teachings of Roman Catholicism. I learned the value of telling the truth, loving one another, doing that which is right and having a positive attitude. I believed in God and prayed. He seemed awesome, but I didn't see Him as one I could know in a personal way.
My husband and I were married in 1992. Feeling that God's guidance would help to insure a lasting relationship, I started talking with Christian friends and my husband and we both pursued God. I even joined him one night at a men's Bible study that he was attending. There, I realized that I needed Christ to come into my heart. I committed my life to Him.
Anytime I'm fearful or troubled, I come to God, confident that He will help. I know that He has a plan for me, presently letting me use my golf as a platform to touch others, and I find comfort in knowing that I'll spend eternity with Him.
