I'm the youngest of 11 children. My mom was a hard-working woman and had a lot of influence on my life, but church wasn't something that our family did with much regularity.
I have always believed there is a God, but I haven't always understood who He was or what He was like.
During the beginning of my second training camp with the Bears, I started to feel that I needed some direction in life. Tom Carter, a friend and Christian on our team, started showing me what the Bible had to say about sin and God's plan of forgiveness. I prayed and asked Christ to come into my life.
I have since gotten married and my wife and I have enjoyed growing in the Lord, being baptized and being led by God's Holy Spirit. I now live my life to glorify God.
