| During my senior year of high school, my dad committed suicide. I was angry, especially at God. As a result, when I went to college I started making bad choices and got caught up in the party scene. I had a lot of anger built up inside and ended up doing things I wish I hadn't.
My sophomore year of college I was involved in a bad car accident. It made me re-evaluate my life. I started attending a Bible study with a football teammate. During that time, I recognized that Jesus Christ died for me and I committed my life to Him. I gradually began to give God control of my life. As my relationship with Christ has grown, I have learned to trust Him with every area of my life. I rely on Him to give me strength, and I know that whatever happens, He is in control.
