National Football League

Quarterback

Seattle, Baltimore, Tampa Bay

Fresno State University

Super Bowl Champion

I was pretty selfish growing up, looking out for No. 1. I did anything to become more popular. Playing football and even going to church were just more ways to be popular. Both were self-serving.

Even with all the attention I received from athletics, I was still restless. It wasn't until my junior year in college at an FCA camp that I really came to understand what it meant to be a Christian. It was then that I trusted Christ as my Savior.

Since then my focus has gradually changed from pleasing myself to pleasing God. God has also changed the way I view people. I used to look at people for how they could help me, but now my perspective is how can I help them and love them. Since trusting Christ, my view of football has also changed. I now see playing in the NFL as a chance for me to influence people for Him.

Is your life restless? Are you just looking out for #1? Trent Dilfer was that way, then he found peace in trusting God. You can find that same peace and contentment by clicking here.
