It is a grind mentally. We play every day just about for seven months. And it's more of a mental grind than you know, the physical grind, really. But you know, the bottom line is going out there, being professional, competing as hard as you can.
That's all I try to do is try to motivate myself to be the best player I can be every day I go out there.

It's a whole new perspective really. Instead of just living for yourself, which is real easy to do sometimes. I still battle that, but I try to put the Lord in the middle of every one of my decisions and then go from there. When I'm doing that, usually I know it's the right decision. Now whatever happens, I just take it as the Lord's will and go from there.

God has put me in touch with a lot of great people, a lot of solid believers who helped me through the tough times. I've seen a lot of relationships grow. And it's been a great witnessing tool. People I don't even know have come up to me and ask me how I'm dealing with things so well, and that's when I'm able to share my faith in Christ with them.

You just have to get into the Word and all the answers are there. Regardless of what you're struggling with or what your problems are, the answer is found right there in the Word.

It's important for me to stay focused and read everyday. Read up on my Bible everyday and just through...sometimes you need a memory refresher to keep you going. And that would be my advice, just you know, to gain wisdom from the Word.
