I've played the game for a long time, so I have seen a lot of ups and downs. But I try to take away all that and just realize the effort. As long as the efforts there. As long as you've given that you know, that 100, that 110 percent, whatever they want to say. I think that nobody will criticize you. But you know, when you've given up emotionally and when you've given up physically then you know, you should be jumped on, and that's usually when fans and coaches get on you.

I just feel like God has blessed me with a certain amount of ability, and when I take that field, I'm supposed to use that ability the best that I can. And to let God down in His eyes by not giving what I can out on the field I mean, that's a bigger disappointment than not showing up in the box score. And I realize I'm here by blessings from Him. I've been blessed with family and with children, healthy children. And these things are all gifts. And just to go out there and play, it's been a lifelong dream. This is something that you don't have for the rest of your life. You have maybe 10, 12 years at the most and to go out and play 100 percent or play the best that you can then you have nothing to regret.

You have to look at your blessings. I think that just being able to get out of bed healthy every morning is No. 1. And when you can do that, I think something is expected in return. And that's to go out and live the life that you've been given. To be shine through as a light like you are different. Not different or better than anyone, but you have talents and God expects things out of you.
